The Chase 18th May 2016 featured possibly the most baffling low offer contestant ever.

Young contestant Emma earned £5000 in the cash builder, so a very respectable amount.

When it came to Mark The Beast offering her amounts of £37,000, £5000 and a minus offer of £3000. All her fellow contestants saying take the middle offer of £5000.  Emma went for £3000 saying she was a 'strategic thinker'.

Emma could easily have got her £5000 if not £37,000 when she qualified for the final.
Even in the final she got many questions right to get the team upto 16.

The Beast left it late to win against them to win with three seconds to go.

Surely one of the most baffling The Chase contestants ever.  Intelligent & educated yet she took the low offer.  Totally shocking decision towards her team mates.
