EastEnders Grant Mitchell is returning to Walford tonight and it was actor Ross Kemp who joined Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford to speak about playing the character again after such a long time.

Grant Mitchell will be in Albert Square tonight, well it is Friday the 13th so it's lucky for some and not so lucky for others.

Barbara Windsor was the one who persuaded Ross to return for Peggy's own exit in EastEnders.

Ross said it was great to work with Letitia Dean and Steve McFadden.  He also spoke of his own TV career and  filming abroad in Afghanistan and being in situations where ISIS are shooting bullets from 150 metres away.  He said he adores his role in going to these dangerous places.
