California Chrome has won the worlds richest race, the Dubai World Cup sponsored by Emirates Airlines in 2 minutes 1 seconds by just over 3  and 3/4 lengths. The horse ridden by Victor Espinoza had no traffic problems this year and duly won the race from around the furlong pole. It was only after the winning post it became evident how well the jockey had done with the saddle slipping.  It would have been very unfortunate for this horse not to win a second year.  So California Chrome will go down in history as a winner of the Worlds Richest Horse Race - The Dubai World Cup 2016.  The horse owned by Art Shurman will be happy with over 10 million dollar purse this has won him..
