The Chase it all started of so well with seat 1 contestant scoring £9,000, but crash n burn when up against The Beast.

Pat came next and duly obliged, getting through against Mark.  Josh followed and it was the turn of prospective student nurse Beccy who referred to Mark as Uncle Beast.  She took her £3,000 from cashbuilder and converted it to add to a team cashpot of £13,000.

Such a team against Mark, you might have expected around 17 with pushbacks.  Pat and Beccy though had other ideas and with the assistance of Josh's 1 correct answer managed a total of 22.  The Beast had his work cut out and it may have been The Beast of old had he won against them.  Sadly of late Mark has been left floundering when up against some teams and this was the case today.  Give credit to the team though, 22 correct answers was superb and they fully deserve their money.
